Communication View
The communication view counts for each process the number of request
messages which are necessary when trying to collect all neighbouring resources.
When a process changes its state to hungry the number of sent messages
is set to zero and the process starts with counting request messages
again. A mark shows the maximum number of messages which were necessary
when trying to access all its resources. The average process shows the
average request messages sent by all processes for accessing a resource
once. A mark shows the maximum average value during the execution. It is
easy to observe that the number of sent request messages is proportional
to the degree of a process. Below each bar of a process the bit complexity
of a message is shown. The bit complexity of messages is interesting for
this algorithm as the user can observe the logarithmic increase of request
messages. The bars and message sizes are coloured according to the colour
associated with each process.
